Intenational fee (Verizon; for texting) any simple information?

Ok I\'m going to Canada for a week (Im staying on the Canadian side of Niagra Falls) and I want to know...

1 ) If I can continue texting my friends back in California at all.
If not....

2 ) If I receive a text message there, will i get charged and the person who sent it?

3 ) If I send a message, will the receiver and ME get charged?

4 ) If I buy something from a Verizon store that lets me internationally text, will the person I am texting get charged if they do not have international texting in their plans?

5 ) Can i text people with other servers, such as Tmobile if they dont have the international texting plan without them getting charged?

Oh and i have the whole unlimited texting thing too.
