I have Time Warner Road Runner too and it runs very well for me all the time. I\'ve never experienced a difference in internet speed during the night. It may be possible that there are more people in your area that are using the service at night and stressing their server during this time period. I\'m not that technical, but it\'s the only thing I can think of.

Most likely because you have to share the bandwidth with all the other cable internet people in your area. At night more people in your internet grid is on the internet so you get a smaller amount of bandwidth allocated to you

Is it?  Connect to http://www.speedtest.net/ when you think it\'s running slow and see what the connection speed really is.  If your connection speed is right, but the internet is slow, or your path to the server you\'re connected to is slow, or the server is slow, your total connection is slow but it has nothing to do with Time Warner (and there\'s nothing they can do about it).
