I have free email with yahoo and I pay Time Warner Cable for Cable and Road Runner . I have no need for Cable since I only watch PBS, and the Road Runner email I never will use. I need only access to my yahoo email. My phone service is with Verizon and since I only make local calls, I pay $8/Mo total. Can I just pay Yahoo to be my ISP, drop Time Warner Cable and get an antenna for the new Digital TV transmissions?

Yahoo has internet service in association with other companies. For example ATT. You would still have to pay for the ISP service. I assume you are using Cable for your internet. I think ATT/Yahoo uses DSL which would probably be slower than cable and maybe cheaper.
