I cant go online on wii?

I could play online when i had time warner cable internet but we moved and got cheap comcast  internet and all of a sudden i cant go online . I have a wii lan adapter that i got from gamestop and i called nintendo , they said that it was a third party adapter not made by nintendo and they cant diagnose a repair or troubleshoot  so someone told me that my modem had a fire wall stoping the wii from connecting and ive tried everything but no luck . I want to resolve this problem without buying a new adapter from nintendo , my xbox 360 got stolen thats the only reason why i even care about peice of shit wii . I wish i could get that free xbox they show on tv but i dont know the website . Try to help both questions please

In any case, Nintendo\'s right. Nintendo can\'t guarantee any LAN adapter will be compatible your internet connection. I suppose the best thing for you to do would be to buy it from Nintendo\'s online store or order it by calling their Consumer Service Department:
