I have a laptop with Qwest DSL internet wireless connection, and I hooked up a Netgear USB router \"antenna\" so he can get the signal in his room.  Is there a way I can see what he is seeing as he is seeing it?  He has been to some raunchy sights, or his friends are going there, and we need better monitoring....he has learned to delete his internet history trails.....any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I WOULD not let him have a computer in his bedroom!  ARe you nuts...or just really naive?Huh  There is no way you could monitor it night and day, which is what he would need.

Instead of spying on him, just stop him. You can change to Opendns severs and install the filters that block those sites. Opendns is free and used by over 20,000 schools. Plus it will cut in half the bad sites you can land on. Those are blocked by the servers. They are faster than you ISP servers to. Here\'s a link and you can check it out. Very easy to set up and very easy to change back if you don\'t like it.

If he\'s smart enough, you can\'t do anything.

However, you could use a parental restriction software. Most of them already have a database of sites that should be blocked.
