How do i connect to xbox live with a usb connection?

I have qwest dsl and instead of an ethernet cord it uses usb.  When i do the network xbox live test it says my network adapter is disconnected.  What am i suppose to do? get an ethernet cord?

if its just some random usb cord then it might not work, but if its a wire-less 360 adapter then it might pick up the signal

if you want XBL you will need to use a ethernet cord unless u got a computer than you can use an ethernet cord and enable the ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) on your computer and put the ethernet cord ( or you might need a crossover cable..you can find at bestbuy) from your computer into your xbox...and there you go XBOX LIVE EXPERIENCE =)
