I have recently gotten a DSL modem and signed up with Qwest, and the modem simply does not connect to the internet. The modem is an Actiontec M1000 model. The Power light is solid green,The DSL light is solid green, the Internet light is solid orange, and the Ethernet light is solid green. This is really frustrating as I can't just back out of the service and their damn hotline hasn't helped me at all. I only get limited connectivity, I can't get an IP, and when I manually set the IP, I still can't access the internet. I've tried pinging the IP address and it just times out after a few seconds. I'd also like to point out that my Comcast cable modem was working just fine before this thing. All help and suggestions are welcome...
