I am looking at Cox communications Internet packages and they have the following options. Of course I don\'t want to pay for the most expensive one but is the cheapest a decent speed?

Premier Package - 12Mbps/1.5Mbps
$44.95/mo for 6 months   $67.99/month

 Value Package - 1.5Mbps/384Kbps
$19.99/mo for 6 months   $39.95/month

 Preferred Package - 8 Mbps/768 Kbps
$29.95/mo for 6 months

Well.. unless you are planning on downloading HD movies all day or running a server, yes it is a pretty good speed.

I would go fo the  prefered package -
8 Mbps/768 kbps is a very good internet speed.
A couple of years ago, whe thought speeds like that was science fiction

I have an i nternet speed between 8 and 9 Mbps and an upload speed of 0.85 Mbps and that is very close to your
Preferred Package
