I have a netgear WGR614 v6  wireless router and I am paying cox communications for 25 mbps. When I run a speed test with the router plugged it and I am connected to the wireless. The test came up to less then 1 mbps. I thought the problem was with cox but when I connected my laptop directly into the linksys modem and did a speed test. The results came up to 23.5 mbps. Why is my netgear router taking away 23 mbps from me that I am paying for??

you really shoudent be loosing that much speed it could be wireless interferce or some thing

i know for a fact that
wireless b gets about  5 Mbit
wireless g gets about 22 Mbit

so the minimum should be about 5Mb

Did you check router setting by experts ? And try to reset the setting again if you have cache memory in router clear it and refresh the router.check again
