they might, or they might not. it depends on how many people they need to service that day, and what day it is. if its for example sunday, they might shut early .

That's a tough one. If they are too busy obviously they wont, but you might get lucky. It's very, very, very rare though.

Thats between you and the cable provider.  Different companies have different guidelines on how they do business.  It's best just to contact them and see when they would be coming.

Most of the cable providers I have dealt with give a four hour time frame on a certain day.
