With Comcast internet and no TV, do I get basic cable anyway?

I want comcast internet, which goes through the cable line.  If I am moving to a new place and just ask for internet and tell them I don't have a TV, would basic cable be on with no charge?  I mean just the very basic cable with about 10 channels.

You will be charged a base amount for the TV service that will be provided. This is whether you use it or not. The tv service is automatically hooked up and can't be separated without internet. (Or WON'T be separated from internet).
You aren't so naive as to think they wouldn't charge you for this are you?
Go ahead and ask for it but if they stick you with TV service,get "economy" or "senior citizen's"  or whatever package is the least expensive.

you will not be charged for television if you don't want it and yes you will get basic free because we no longer use the trraps that block out those channels if your lucky and the tech is lazy you might get 2-95 for free.

I must correct the guy before me as I have installed both cable and satellite.  The cable signal CAN be separated from the internet signal.  They either use traps that block all the cable channels or have addressable taps that are remotely controlled to give you what you are paying for.  If it's the addressable taps you have in your neighborhood/apartment, then you are S.O.L.  If your internet connection would require filters to block the cable channels out then you have two options.

1. You get an incompetent and lazy installer who doesn't put the filters on

or

2. You risk trying to "tip" the installer into forgetting the filters.

Either way, if you end up getting cable channels while only paying for you are technically stealing cable whether or not the installer "forgot" to install the filters and you can be legally charged with stealing cable.  Sounds stupid, but this is FACT.  Read any paper work you get from the cable company and it will explain stealing cable as theft of services.  But the good news is 9 times out of 10, you would have to get caught stealing multiple times before they would press charges.  The bad news is, if you do recieve free service, it could last anywhere from a week to a couple years, depending on how often they come and check out their taps to see who's supposed to get cable and who's not to.

Some websites allow you to download full movies and TV shows right off the internet to your computer. They offer thousands of choices and some are even in HD. Most choices are the same quality....
