how do i program my charter communications remote to run my new vizio tv?

Check the users guide for the remote.  Usually you have to hold some button down (maybe the tv button) until it starts blinking.  Then you enter the code for a "Vizio" tv.  There may be more than one code.  So you have to try one code and if it doesn't work, try the next code.

If you don't have the manual, call the cable company's tech support line.  They should be able to help you out.
