i just bought an antenna and converter box.
i really don\'t understand where to put my cable from charter communications.
does that go in the antenna in?
URGENT!

You don\'t need either a converter box or an antenna.
Just connect your cable to the TV.

Converter boxes work only with antenna.

Charter has a 1-800 number and they also have a website you can contact customer service from there as well.

From what I understand people who have cable don\'t need to have an antenna and a box. For example we have Comcast and we are good to go. We asked the Tec guy when he came to help us with the computer.

If you have cable, they will provide a converter for your low def TV sets <> they go full digital.

Over the air transmissions are presently digital, but cable companies aren\'t forced to transition to digital...their timeline is a couple years later.
