ok I unfortunately have charter communications as my phone/internet/cable and I was paying my charter bill on time every month since signing up and my online bill pay reflects that fact with payments made on
168.19 11/5/08
176.47 12/8/08
176.00 01/21/09
407.22 03/4/09
I missed February because I did not get the bill, instead I get a late bill in march with a \"total due immediately\" of $407.22 (I assumed for February and march), fair enough so like a good customer I paid it thinking this zeros out my balance.
Now today (April) I get a charter bill for 382.98 for April and May!?
I call and they tell me I have a past due balance of 187.00 for the month of April and that they charge for services a month in advance(may)...I ask them \"how can it be past due when i just received it today?\" they start reading from script, and this is where I lose it, I still have yet to get a strait answer from the morons that work there.
can any of you shed any light on whether I\'m being bent over and porked by charter.
if you work for charter and would like to answer please answer like you actually give a crap, I\'ve heard enough canned b/s.
