Ive had DSL for a while and it was working fine but one day i started up my computer to get on the internet and something popped up and said something about Local Area Connection, i clicked on the bubble and it it said that it had limited or no connectivity. I called Bellsouth and they said to reset my internet modem. i restarted the modem and i could get on the internet, however i have to reset my internet modem everytime i want to get on the internet, and its getting really annoying. Does anyone know whats causing this? please help.....Thanks.

When it says that, it doesn\'t really mean that your DSL modem is having trouble connecting to the internet, it means that your computer is having trouble getting to your DSL router. It cannot get an IP address from your router, so it only has limited connectivity.
This could be a bad or marginal cable, a problem with the ethernet adapter in your computer, or most likely, your DSL modem is going bad and needs to be reset in order for it to kick itself back into shape. If you did not buy it but is supplied by Bellsouth, then they will probably need to replace it. You might try using a different port on the modem in case the problem is limited to that on..... if it has multiple ports.
