Hey, My name is Alec and im getting into java srcipting and i want to learn all about java. Im trying to get experienced enough to script games. I have very very little experience in java but do know some basics. I am not over 18 so i dont know if i would be able to tip you becuase of parent restrictions but im a very hard worker and is willing to work all day just to learn. First off, Java and javascript are two completely different things.

Look up some Java tutorials online, there are plenty of good ones around.  After that, try here http://projecteuler.net/ for some challenging programming problems.  That will get you the skills you\'ll need.
